What an excellent resource! I bought this to plan my first trip into the Boundary Waters. It was a great source of information on travel within the Bwca, and gave many suggested detailed routes. It also listed other helpful resources such as how to find an outfitter to rest a canoe from ( and other supplies as needed), and what maps are NEEDED. My adult daughter and I had a great first trip and will be planning another one for next year. Provides most everything one would need to plan a trip. My only suggestion for the next edition of this, and all outdoor guidebooks, is to provide the UTM coordinates for all key elements such as the trailheads for the portages.
